1999 Visa Hall of Fan selectee Monte "Arrowman" Short and his wife Stacie had such a good time at the Hall of Fame Weekend that they were motivated to form Pro Football's Ultimate Fan Association. Monte served as the first President. His first goal to get the group in the Grand Parade. He was able to get the 12th Man float sponsored in the Parade. The group has evolved and now hosts it's own charity event for the kids of Canton who can't make it to games. Monte helped develop a Mission Statement: To promote the fellowship of all fans, sportsmanship and support charitable activities. The three legged stool, as it is called, is used in considering fans for membership. PFUFA held its first draft for new members. All members prior to this draft class are recognized in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The 14th PFUFA Reunion is the weekend of the Hall of Fame Activities in Canton, Ohio.  Class number two is pictued above.  go to www.pfufa.org for more information.
